Wald ATM is owned and operated by Seth and Katherine Wald. We are a family owned business focused on superior customer service; we value and appreciate our relationships with our merchants, partners and banks who continue to work with us on a daily basis.
We first began our ATM business venture while living in Massachusetts, Assonet to be exact, a quaint little town located in Southeastern Massachusetts just a few miles from the beautiful beaches of Cape Cod. It was in 2003 that we installed our first machine, a Triton 9100, in a hometown liquor store located in Bourne, MA. At the time I was working at a large Boston based institutional bank where I worked while servicing my ATM customers on nights and weekends. After just a few months of top of the line customer service WALD ATM began receiving additional requests for machines throughout Cape Cod and we were in business!
In 2006 I received an offer from my bank to relocate my family to Kansas City. After some discussion and prayer with Katherine we decided to take a chance and make the 1500 mile journey to the middle of the mid-west. We spent a few months packing and selling belongings that didn’t need to make the trip, sold our house and loaded up our 4 children (two sets of twins) and headed out on the open road to Kansas City!
It didn’t take long for us to see and feel the hospitality of the south as we settled into our new life in Missouri. We are now firmly planted in our community and plan to be here for a very long time. We live in Smithville, Missouri where we are raising our 4 children, two dogs and a flock of chickens and ducks as we focus our energy on continuing to provide service to clients located across Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska.
